Fumiya Odagawa's works draw inspiration from the moment when dusk arrives, a time when beauty and loneliness coexist. In everyday life, events with profound impact repeatedly surface and fade in the realm of memory, intertwining with other themes to form the contours of his paintings. Simultaneously, various sketches of the same subject are revisited multiple times. These forgotten individuals and events gradually become shrouded in beauty and loneliness.
Ultimately, the works undergo a transformation, evolving into paintings imbued with a serene and enduring unease. Through the coexistence of beauty and loneliness, they evoke resonance and emotion in the audience.
